I got one from Yahoo Lottery for 300,000 Great Britain pounds. Scam?
on Apr 21, 2007
They do not need a specific e-mail address to send them out, but by replying then they will have yours....and will fill your inbox with spam. You see that they in fact request your e-mail address in the list of info they want...and ya next of kin.. ..hoping to get another e-mail addy to spam.

Unless you have specifically filled out anything on a website that requires them to send you something via e-mail...then it is either spam or a scam and they need a response in order to get your e-mail addy. Including sites that claim to have added you to a subscription that you actually did not sign up for but they need you to click a link to unsubscribe.

Doubtful its actually from yahoo..just highlight the email and click the spam button on your yahoo email. This will help keep the same spammers from sending again.

i think the coca cola lottery was a bit tight......what about a life time supply of coke as well....? sheesh.....thats SAD.......lol hey Uvah I got the yahoo lottery scam email too, i just shook my head and junked it.... One time i took a lottery scam company 'on' I followed all their stupid directions, (but withheld all my personal private info) and when it came the time for me to give THEM money so I could get my winnings, then i let them have it, I told them I was going to report them to the department of fair trading...and they got scared....and needless to say, they never wrote back. I just played them along to see how they worked.......
